What to know before you buy accessories

Two halves share this department. Bags reward careful shopping: zippers, webbing and stitching density tell you almost everything, and all three are visible in QC photos before your parcel ships. Chinese manufacturers produce for most of the world's technical bag brands, and the unbranded equivalents use the same YKK hardware and Cordura panels at a third of the price. The rest is the highest-hit-rate part of any first order: low cost, forgiving sizing and immediate impact, which also makes it the cheapest way to test a purchasing agent before committing to an expensive parcel.
