Ask for it the way you’d say it.
Type “black oversized hoodie under ¥150” and search lifts a colour, a category and a budget out of it before the first result renders, then shows you exactly what it understood, so a wrong guess costs one click, not a re-type. Every refinement lives in the URL: a good search here is a link you can send someone.
Plain phrasing becomes structure
Three kinds of signal are lifted out of the query and applied as filters. Whatever is left over is matched as text, and the chips above the results always show what was applied.
Budgets
“Under ¥150”, “between ¥100 and ¥200”, or just “cheap”: each becomes a price filter. Cheap means under ¥80; premium starts at ¥400. If a budget empties the results, it is loosened and the page says so.
Colours & materials
“Charcoal” and “heather” resolve to grey, “cream” to white, “rust” to orange. Named materials (linen, ripstop, titanium, S925 silver) apply as real material filters rather than loose keywords.
Category intent
“Hoodie”, “cargos”, “keeb”, “iems”: the vocabulary people actually type maps onto real subcategories, and menswear or womenswear cuts are picked up too. Wrong guess? One click switches to literal matching.
Or start from a category
Every category is a destination with its own editorial intro, facets and guides, no query required.
